DM85 will not charge.
Possible Causes 1: DM85 is not powered ON.
Solutions: Press and hold AUTO Mode Button on DM85 to power ON.
Possible Causes 2: DM85 has not made a connection with the Charging Dock.
Solutions: Be sure that DM85 has made a connection with the Charging Dock Pins. You may move the robot manually to make the connection if necessary.
Possible Causes 3: Charging Dock is unplugged while DM85 is powered ON, which causes battery consumption.
Solutions: Plug in the Charging Dock and ensure DM85 is powered ON. Keep DM85 on the Charging Dock to make sure it has a full battery to work at any time.
Possible Causes 4: The battery is completely discharged.
Solutions: Re-activate the battery. Place DM85 on the Charging Dock by hand, remove after charging for 3 minutes, repeat 3 times; then charge normally.
DM85 gets into trouble while working and stops.
Possible Causes: DM85 is tangled with something on the floor (electrical cords, drooping curtains, carpet fringe etc.).
Solutions: DM85 will try various ways to get itself out of trouble. If it is unsuccessful, manually remove the obstacles and restart.
DM85 returns to the Charging Dock before it finishes cleaning.
Possible Causes 1: When battery power gets low, DM85 automatically switches to Return to Charger Mode and returns to the Charging Dock to recharge itself.
Solutions: This is normal. No solution necessary.
Possible Causes 2: Working time varies according to floor surface, room complexity and the selected Cleaning Mode.
Solutions: This is normal. No solution necessary.
DM85 will not clean automatically at scheduled time.
Possible Causes 1: Time Scheduling function is cancelled.
Solutions: Set Time Scheduling function.
Possible Causes 2: DM85 is powered OFF.
Solutions: Power ON DM85.
Possible Causes 3: The robot’s battery is low.
Solutions: Keep DM85 powered ON and on the Charging Dock to make sure it has a full battery to work at any time.
Possible Causes 4: DM85’s components are tangled with debris.
Solutions: Power OFF DM85, clean the Dust Bin, and invert the robot. Clean Side Brushes and the Main Brush.
Remote Control failure (effective control range of Remote Control is 5m (16’)).
Possible Causes 1: The batteries in the Remote Control need to be replaced.
Solutions: Replace with new batteries making sure they are installed correctly.
Possible Causes 2: DM85 is powered OFF or DM85’s battery is low.
Solutions: Make sure DM85 is powered ON and fully charged.
Possible Causes 3: The infrared signal cannot be transmitted because the Infrared Emitter on the Remote Control or DM85’s Infrared Receiver on DM85 is dirty.
Solutions: Use a dry cloth or the Multi-Function Cleaning Tool to wipe the Infrared Emitter on Remote Control and the Infrared Receiver on DM85.
Possible Causes 4: There is other equipment interfering with the infrared signal to DM85.
Solutions: Avoid using the Remote Control near other equipment using infrared signals.
